So what's up? I am just strumming on my guitar. I have been working on playing Beautiful Ending by BarlowGirl.  Yup! I love my pink electric guitar! And I also love my family and God and Jesus. I hope that you have accepted Jesus into your heart. That is what our band is about, getting people to know Jesus and ask Him into their hearts. That's the 3 step part of our name...and I think you get what the girls part is ...obviously...LOL!!

Well, I need to finish homework so I will blog again later...

Happy Early Easter!!! Wow, this year is flying by! But before Easter has flown by, I want to take time to recognize the man who made it possible for us to have a relationship with God.

JESUS, a name that brings strength and love when it is said. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us and I want to give a special shout-out to  Him. One man's  (Jesus's) pain, has brought so much gain to the world. Without Jesus taking our sins and paying the price for our sins, we would never have a chance of being with God. Jesus had the power to say no, but instead, he dealt with the pain, sorrow, and suffering. Our pain could never be compared to what he suffered when he was crucified.


So I would like to take this time now to thank Jesus for paying the ultimate sacrifice so that I can have a relationship with God.


Thank You Jesus!!!

Ok so not to make y'all scared or anything, but its kinda freaky the way planes stay up in the air. I am terrified of planes after the Hudson River Crash and terrorist attacks that we all hear about on the news and stuff....I mean who wouldn't be??? Anyways so I have told my parents multiple times that I will not go on a plane again, but each time I say that I back down because I want to go on vacation with them and not be left all alone, I mean seriously, WHO WOULD WANT TO BE LEFT AT HOME WHEN YOUR FAMILY IS ON VACATION??? So before I go on a plane I am like "Mom, Dad, sisses, I am sorry for anything I have ever done to you, I love you soooooo much!!" I repeat this multiple times before the plane even takes off. (and btw I tell them I love them a lot, not just when I am freaking out over being on a plane flying over the middle of nowhere.)

So, the other day, my dad was like, I was wondering if we should go visit our family this summer, on top of our other trips, (they live faaaaaaaarrrr away so unless we want to be driving all day and night, we have to take a PLANE.). I was like ummmmmm can they come to US because I am terrified of planes.
My dad replied, Why are you scared of planes? I said because I don't want to crash. He said that you are more likely to be in a car crash than a plane crash. I said That may be true, but I am still scared of planes. Then he said something that has made me not stress and worry so much, not just over planes, but over LIFE. He said, "If it's in God's will it will happen. God will protect you, and if the plane does crash, He has a reason for it."
GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT US, WHAT WE DO TOMORROW AND WHAT WE DO 10 YEARS FROM NOW. WE CAN'T CHANGE WHAT HE HAS PLANNED FOR OUR LIVES. (well we can like take wrong paths [sin] and stuff but ummm He has planned out our lives and stuff and He knows that we'll sin soooo...... [I may be confusing you but ummmm.... sorry if I am... I guess, I am making sense to myself but .........])

I took what my dad said to heart, God's in control, if it's in His will it will happen. Now I am less afraid of airplanes, and lots of other things.

God loves us, and will protect us!!!!

A.K.A. Airplane-O-Phobia Girl LOL!!!

Well, like we have said earlier, we are in the song writing process. I am actually in the middle of writing a new one now. When I say in the middle, I mean I know what I want it to be about, I just don't know what I want the words in it to be.....hmmm......decisions........decisons

Anyways, you may want to know what this song is about.
Have you heard the song The Lost Get Found by:Britt Nicole, or Beautiful Ending by:BarlowGirl, if you will understand the point of view I am trying to get with this song.

Aside from that I have been shoveling the tons of snow off my driveway.....ok....ok, maybe I exaggerated a bit, but there is a fair amount of snow.
 
I am so excited for this new band!! I think about it all the time!!! I hope you tell your friends about it.... I'm sure they'd love to hear about a new band.

By the way, we are just starting up so we don't have any music or videos on YouTube, or any CD's on Amazon, I will blog about it when we do.

I am hoping we will have something like what I just said soon but for now I have to perfect my guitar skills and crank out some new songs. Oh and while I remember, feel free to comment or fill out the survey!!!

Hi! I am Rachel, one of the guitarists for the new Christian Rock band, 3step Girls! We are so excited for this band and are excited to show you our music.
For a while being in a band has been one of my dreams, and now it is finally coming true!!!
I have previously played piano and have now started guitar lessons(I sooooo love my pink electric guitar)!!!!!!
